Terrafugia: The vertical take-off fying car

Imagine in a future that you own a car which is can liftoff and landing, it would be awesome isn't? where you are no more obligated with traffic jams to go to class and won't catch up late for your important meeting or date.wink!.  But, a good thing come with a good price where you have to prepared a half or one million dollar.

Terrafugia, the Woburn, MA, company developing the Transition flying car, has plans for a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) sibling.  Basically, Terrafugia TF-X would be tilt-rotor flying machine that would take off and like a helicopter instead of a runway, the TF-X could use helipad or parking lot, the using of helipad and parking lot are important because of Terrafugia's devices are not so much flying cars as roadable aircraft where it can lift you off to your destination a few miles away, the closer you land to destination the better.
